Now kerala government is going to permit bike taxis initially in trivandrum, kozhikode and kochi. Govt is planning to implement bike taxis by giving taxi license to bikes. A specific colour will be allotted for bike taxis, may be blue or yellow and the colour of the number plate will be in yellow colour as usual taxi.
Any person with driving license which register their bike as taxis can run bike taxis. It is financially feasible for one passenger to travel in bike taxis. Govt will declare their fare. Those who running bike taxis should strictly wear uniform and helmet.
